Book: Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson


Abandoned on page 80

I gave up reading on page 80, bored silly.

I've read all of Neal Stephenson's other books except for In the Beginning...was the Command Line and I've liked them all enormously. That includes the ones he wrote with J. Frederick George under the pseudonym Stephen Bury. I don't know what makes Quicksilver so different, but it appears that I'm not the only one to like the others and think that this one is a huge bore. I may have another go at it some time, but I doubt it.
